jj and a bunch of pico friends are going to see the long awaited Big Hero 6 this Sat. members include Jackson, Shane, Jordan P. and perhaps Justin. JJ got his buddies together @ school today and put a plan together for the event including schedule and dining options! Brilliant! So proud of him.
picked jay up from abc @655pm. He had been there since 3pm for enrichment. He used call it the murder academy for the enrichment was challenging @ 5th grade level. mum and dad both feeling a little sorry recently but we know it's necessary.
today, Jay told me about the new math concept he learned @ abc and he was pleased with the new knowledge. He is getting his appetite for challenge addressed after school. He said if only the place were better, it would be perfect! !!. Shocked to hear it. He has grown to sort of like this place! !!
jj played his first pee wee game today. He scored one goal and tied the game for his team. It was a break away and he scored against Baker (goalie) by getting the puck through his legs right before Baker could do his butterfly. well done.
jj, dylan, dada in a car to tennis court. jj and d chatting about their new class mates. jj said he got reseated and was surrounded by girls. then jj said - I am attractive, the girls keep talking to me. Dylan replied- u meant the girls were cute. to which jj said- no, it's me who is attractive!
Friend conversation over dinner. Daddy said "I like to have smart people to be my friends " jJ went " I don't mean to be rude, but why would they want to hv dump (ie u, daddy) people as friends?
Daddy had to think quick with this response - people r smart @ different things and we complement each other. JJ agreed! Whew!
One of jj's classmates said "u r still 8" , that sucks! ". JJ said " but I am taller than u". End of conversation .. our quiet and reserved baby can dish it out when needed.
